Elite becomes a Benefit Corporation

Elite becomes a Benefit Corporation
We work for a business that puts people’s well-being, environmental protection and product quality at its core.
Elite becomes a Benefit Corporation, confirming its determination to play an active role in spreading a culture of sustainability and promoting balanced models of development that respect people, the environment and the communities in which it operates. For us, cycling is also a matter of social and environmental responsibility.
With this decision, we once again make explicit and measurable a commitment that has defined our way of doing business for years: running a company aimed at creating lasting common benefit, putting people’s well-being, environmental protection and product quality at the centre.
These are the three key areas on which a Benefit Corporation is called to act, turning the passion for its sector – in our case, cycling – into positive energy for the wider community.
A journey that started long ago
Becoming a Benefit Corporation is not a starting point, but a milestone in a journey made of concrete choices: investments in innovation, focus on the supply chain and product quality, projects developed with local communities and cycling communities.
Today this commitment also becomes part of our by-laws and turns into a clear, measurable objective.
People: well-being inside and outside the company
When it comes to People, we are committed to contributing to the well-being and quality of life of our employees, protecting health and safety in the workplace and promoting a healthy work–life balance.
We want to nurture skills and responsibility, creating career paths focused on growth and continuous learning.
At the same time, the company is committed to supporting the communities in which it operates through initiatives and social projects aimed at collective well-being, and to promoting healthy, inclusive lifestyles among our customers through sport – especially cycling – and the positive experiences created through their relationship with the brand.
Environment and product: innovating responsibly
On the Environment and Product front, Elite aims to generate a positive impact on the environment, in line with climate neutrality goals and with the spread of a culture of sustainability.
To do this, it will adopt eco-design practices, giving priority to:
more sustainable materials
responsible use of resources
product durability and reparability
careful end-of-life management
From trainers to bottles and bottle cages, every product is designed to support cyclists while minimising environmental impact and maximising quality and user experience.
Our goal is to develop and apply innovative technologies to progressively reduce our environmental footprint, promoting this business model together with partners and stakeholders.
Building trust, above all
“The meaning of our work lies not only in building products, but in building trust,” says Nicoletta Sartore, CEO of Elite.
“In cycling there is no progress without consistency: becoming a Benefit Corporation is our commitment to pedal every day in the same direction, where performance, innovation and responsibility move together, generating shared value for people and for the planet.”
Riding together
This transformation is an invitation to ride together: to those who work with us, to those who race with our products, to everyone who believes that cycling can be not only about performance, but also about culture, well-being and respect for the world around us.
In the coming months, we’ll share more about the steps of this journey and the projects that will grow from this new chapter in Elite’s story. In the meantime, thank you for continuing to ride by our side on this cycling journey that, every day, still finds new ways to surprise us.
