Warranty and Additional Coverage

ELITE products purchased in Italy are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity provided for by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206 of 6 September 2005). This guarantee applies for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase, protecting the consumer in the event of a lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery.

For products purchased in other countries, the legal guarantee applies within the limits and in accordance with the procedures established by the legislation in force in the country in which the product was purchased.

In addition to the legal guarantee, ELITE S.R.L. Società Benefit offers consumers a conventional commercial guarantee programme that extends coverage by up to a further two (2) years, for a maximum total of four (4) years from the date of purchase (where the applicable national legislation provides for a legal guarantee period longer than the two years established under Italian law, the total duration of coverage, including the commercial guarantee extension, will in any case remain limited to a maximum of four (4) years).

This programme is valid for the following products: JUSTO 2, JUSTO 2 with Zwift Cog and Click, AVANTI, AVANTI with Zwift Cog and Click, RIVO, RIVO with Zwift Cog and Click.

Refurbished products sold on the Elite website under the ELITE CERTIFIED REFURBISHED* designation are excluded from the guarantee extension programme.

The initiative is valid for products sold between 01.06.2026 and 31.12.2028.

The additional commercial guarantee is provided free of charge and entails, within the limits set out in these conditions, the repair or replacement of the product affected by the defects covered, without prejudice to the rights granted to the consumer by law.

The procedure for registering a guarantee extension request and the related conditions are available on the redeem.elite-it.com portal.

* ELITE CERTIFIED REFURBISHED PRODUCTS: refurbished products sold under the Elite Certified Refurbished designation and purchased through the official ELITE website are covered by a guarantee lasting one (1) year from the date of purchase, in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in this guarantee. The additional commercial guarantee extending coverage described in these conditions does not apply to Elite Certified Refurbished products. Such products are therefore excluded from the guarantee extension initiative and cannot be registered for the purpose of obtaining any additional coverage. For Elite Certified Refurbished products, guarantee coverage is limited exclusively to the period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, unless otherwise provided for by mandatory national provisions applicable to the individual consumer.

The procedure for requesting guarantee service, the customer service contact details and any documentation required can be consulted on the Manufacturer's website.

To benefit from the additional commercial guarantee, the consumer must register the relevant request on the redeem.elite-it.com portal within 3 (three) commercial months, equal to 90 (ninety) days from the date of purchase of the product, attaching proof of purchase (for example a receipt or an invoice).

Proof of purchase must be kept by the purchaser, in original or copy form, and produced on request in order to benefit from this additional commercial guarantee. The purchaser must also keep the e-mail confirming the correct registration of the request on the redeem.elite-it.com portal, which may be requested in order to verify eligibility for this additional commercial guarantee.

Registration of the request does not automatically entail recognition of the additional commercial guarantee, which remains subject to verification of the accuracy and completeness of the documentation submitted and of compliance with the requirements set out in these conditions.

The commercial guarantee applies in accordance with the terms and conditions specified herein. The consumer's rights arising from the legal guarantee of conformity under the applicable national legislation, in relation to a lack of conformity existing at the time of delivery of the goods, remain in any case unaffected.

This commercial (conventional) guarantee entitles the consumer to the free repair of the product and/or of the parts of the product recognised by ELITE S.R.L. Società Benefit as defective in manufacture or materials. In any case, ELITE reserves the right, at its own discretion, to replace the product with an identical product or with another product having equivalent characteristics and functions.

The sole remedy provided for under this commercial guarantee consists in the repair of the product or of some of its parts or, at ELITE's discretion, in the replacement of the product itself.

All parts that are replaced shall become the property of ELITE.

The following cases are excluded from commercial guarantee coverage:

i. damage not attributable to the Manufacturer, such as, by way of example and without limitation: improper and/or incorrect use, maintenance not in accordance with the instructions provided, incorrect installation or installation not in accordance with the instructions, damage occurring to products that have been adapted and/or modified, impacts, damage resulting from wear of the product and/or normal deterioration, damage caused by lightning, atmospheric phenomena, overvoltage and overcurrent, insufficient or irregular power supply;

ii. damage and/or impacts occurring during storage at the point of sale or during transport of the product from the point of sale to the customer;

iii. damage caused to the bicycle and/or to the trainer in the event of incorrect assembly, improper use and/or modifications made to the product;

iv. damage resulting from carelessness, breach of safety rules, wilful non-compliance, negligence or gross negligence on the part of the user, as well as from misunderstanding or failure to observe the instructions for use, warnings and information given in the manuals, in the technical documentation or on the warning labels, as well as damage caused by use not in compliance with the technical and/or safety measures required in the country where the product is used.

The additional commercial guarantee does not cover any direct or indirect, temporary or permanent damage resulting from the use of the product, except as provided for by the applicable legislation on producer liability.

This commercial (conventional) guarantee does not apply to consumable parts or to components subject to normal wear and tear.

If, during the period of validity of the commercial guarantee, one or more parts of the product are replaced or repaired using components not authorised by ELITE, or if the work is carried out by parties not authorised by ELITE, the purchaser will lose the right to the coverage provided under this conventional commercial guarantee.

This commercial guarantee extension initiative is excluded for products marketed as Elite Certified Refurbished. Such products are covered exclusively by a commercial guarantee of one (1) year from the date of purchase and are not eligible for any further guarantee extension, as set out in the dedicated paragraph.

In accordance with Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960, from 27 September 2026 every product comes with two distinct and cumulative forms of protection. The legal guarantee of conformity, provided for by law and valid for a minimum of two years, protects you free of charge in the event of a lack of conformity and is set out in the European harmonised notice.

Alongside this, Elite provides — voluntarily and free of charge — a commercial guarantee of durability of up to 4 years on JUSTO 2, AVANTI and RIVO, in all versions: it covers the product as a whole and is identified by the European harmonised label. The two guarantees are independent and cumulative: the commercial guarantee neither limits nor replaces the rights granted to you by law.
