UAE Emirates

UAE Team Emirates-XRG is the first WorldTour cycling team from the United Arab Emirates, founded in 2017 with the ambitious goal of representing an entire nation and promoting a healthy lifestyle through cycling. Since its inception, the team has grown rapidly, attracting world-class riders and prestigious sponsors, becoming one of the strongest squads on the international scene.

The turning point came with Tadej Pogačar’s victories at the Tour de France in 2020 and 2021, which established the team at the top of world cycling. In 2023, UAE Team Emirates reached the number one spot in the UCI WorldTour rankings, confirming its global leadership. Pogačar also became World Champion in 2024 and 2025.

The team is known for its focus on talent and youth, with an international roster that includes riders such as Juan Ayuso, João Almeida, Jay Vine, Marc Soler, Adam Yates, Rui Oliveira, Sebastián Molano, and many others. In addition to success in Grand Tours, the team has claimed major victories in Monument classics like Liège–Bastogne–Liège and Il Lombardia.

Alongside its competitive efforts, UAE Team Emirates launched the Youth Academy, an educational project aimed at introducing children and young people in the UAE to cycling, promoting the bicycle as a key part of an active and sustainable lifestyle.

With a clear vision and a solid structure, UAE Team Emirates-XRG continues to write important chapters in the history of modern cycling, proudly carrying the colors of the United Arab Emirates to podiums around the world.
