Team Picnic Postnl
Team Picnic PostNL Women is a Dutch professional women’s cycling team competing in the UCI Women’s WorldTour. Founded in 2011 as an extension of the men’s program, the team is part of an integrated structure that includes men’s and development squads, all united by the philosophy Keep Challenging, which promotes innovation, collaboration, and the pursuit of excellence.
Over the years, the team has undergone several name changes (Skil-Koga, Liv-Plantur, Sunweb, DSM, dsm-firmenich PostNL) before adopting its current identity Picnic PostNL, supported by two major Dutch brands: Picnic, an online supermarket, and PostNL, the national postal service.
The 2025 roster features 18 high-level riders, including Charlotte Kool, winner of the first two stages of the 2024 Tour de France Femmes, Francesca Barale, Rachele Barbieri, Pfeiffer Georgi, Megan Jastrab, Franziska Koch, Nienke Vinke, and other promising talents. The team has secured 2 stage wins and 2 yellow jerseys across the first three editions of the Tour de France Femmes, confirming its status as one of the most competitive squads in the peloton.
In 2017, the team reached its peak by winning the World Championship Team Time Trial in Bergen and finishing second in the UCI ranking, thanks to champions like Ellen van Dijk and Lucinda Brand. Since then, it has maintained a consistent presence at the top of women’s cycling.
Led by Albert Timmer and Callum Ferguson, the team continues to invest in the development of young athletes and performance, with the goal of returning to the podium in major stage races and inspiring a new generation of female cyclists.
