Roland Cycling Team Women is a Swiss professional women’s cycling team competing in the UCI Women’s WorldTour, founded in 2018. The team races at the highest level of women’s road cycling, regularly participating in major events such as the Tour de France Femmes, Giro d’Italia Donne, Vuelta a Burgos Féminas, and Tour de Suisse Femmes.
The 2025 roster includes 10 riders, featuring experienced names like Antri Christoforou, Tamara Dronova, Elena Pirrone, Giorgia Vettorello, Petra Stiasny, and Mia Griffin, alongside emerging talents such as Giulia Giuliani, Vittoria Ruffilli, Kaja Rysz, and Morgane Coston. The team relies on a blend of experience and youth to tackle the challenges of the WorldTour and secure crucial UCI points to maintain its license.
Over the years, Roland has achieved notable results, including victories at the Tour El Salvador, reVolta, Chrono Féminin de la Gatineau, and the Women’s Cycling Grand Prix Stuttgart & Region. The team has also earned national and continental titles, confirming its competitiveness on the international stage.
Despite challenges related to rising costs and the pressure to accumulate UCI points, Roland Cycling Team continues to invest in athlete development and in building a solid, professional structure. Led by general manager Ruben Rodrigo Contreras and sports director Sergey Klimov, the team maintains a strong multicultural identity and an ambitious vision for the future.
