Cadel Evans: condition tested successfully

Excellent Cadel Evans in the Criterium du Dauphine first stage, with the arrival in Saint-Vallier: attack on the last descent,  all the last kilometer leading the race  with an impressive progression has enabled him to maintain the advantage achieved till the finish. Cadel’s grit and condition at the top have definitely been proven in this stage, he left the whole group a few seconds behind, with Bradley Wiggins taking the leader’s jersey of the overall standings.
